Upgraded Classrooms
The following tables present the list of classroom that were upgraded with new Audio/Visual technology during Summer 2006 and Summer 2007. Links to the respective instructions for operating the A/V system in each room, along with an explanation of the tools available in that room are provided below.

Explanation of technology types:
Basic AV classroom
Basic AV classrooms are equipped with a multimedia instructor desk containing a document camera, DVD+VCR player, VGA cable for laptop connection, A/V cable for connecting an auxiliary device, AC outlets, and a touch-screen control panel. The rooms also have ceiling-mounted speakers, a projection screen, and a projector (which in some rooms can project on the screen or on the whiteboard--this information is available in the instructions specific to each room).
Computer classroom
A computer classroom is a computer lab. The multimedia equipment in computer classrooms is the same as in basic AV classrooms with the addition of a PC installed into the instructor desk (available in some labs only--refer to the instructions specific to each room).
Distance learning classroom
A distance learning classroom has all the equipment of a basic AV classroom, plus one or two video cameras, instructor and student microphones, plasma TV monitor for displaying what is being broadcast, and connections to broadcasting and digitizing devices for TV and/or Internet delivery.
Videoconferencing room
A videoconferencing room has all of the equipment of a distance learning classroom with additional provisions for videoconferencing: a student video camera and a remote site plasma TV monitor.
